Financing technological investments

Implementing projects in the areas of digitalization, automation, and IT infrastructure often requires significant capital expenditures. Not every organization wants or can finance these projects solely from its own resources. Therefore, at GOTOMA GENERAL, we also support clients in analyzing available financing options.

We help align a company’s technological needs with appropriate support instruments, such as grants, preferential loans, tax breaks, and research and development projects. By collaborating with consulting partners, we can support clients not only in technological concepts but also in preparing the project’s content for the chosen financing path.

Technology doesn’t have to wait for its own capital

Implementing an ERP system, MES, B2B/B2C platform, process automation, infrastructure integration, or developing new digital tools can all be linked to available support programs.

Our role is to determine whether a planned investment can align with the objectives of a specific program and how to design its scope to meet both business goals and financing requirements.

Available financing options

DIG.IT

A program aimed at SMEs, supporting the digital transformation of enterprises. It may include, among other things, the acquisition and implementation of ready-made digital technologies, procurement of programming work, employee training, and the purchase of necessary fixed assets related to technology implementation.

In the context of GOTOMA GENERAL projects, the program can support activities related to automation, cloud solutions, digital sales, cybersecurity, AI, and the implementation of IT systems supporting enterprise operations.

Area partners:
R&D projects

For projects requiring the development of new technology, a research and development (R&D) route may be considered. This financing model applies to projects in which a new technological concept, solution, or system component is developed in collaboration with the client.

R&D projects are research-based, so their goal is not always the immediate implementation of a finished product. However, they may lead to the development of a technology at a level of readiness that allows for further development or implementation.

Area partners:
Loans for digital and green transformation

Preferential financing can be used for larger investment projects related to digitization, automation, robotics, Industry 4.0, and the green transformation of enterprises.

In the digital component, financing can cover, among other things, the implementation of ERP, MES, and SCADA systems, solutions based on the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data analysis, digital twins, data collection automation, and the development of B2B and B2C platforms.

In the green component, funds can support projects related to energy efficiency, reduced raw material consumption, waste reduction, material recovery, closed-loop systems, and digital monitoring of the environmental impact of products and processes.

Area partners:
Polish Investment Zone

The Polish Investment Zone is a tool that allows you to obtain corporate income tax (CIT) or personal income tax (PIT) exemptions for new investments. These can include the creation or modernization of a plant, the purchase of new machinery, the digitalization of processes, the expansion of production capacity, or the introduction of new products to the market.

In the case of technology projects, this tax relief can be a significant element of financing a larger investment, particularly when a company plans infrastructure development, process automation, or the implementation of new digital solutions.

GOTOMA GENERAL, in collaboration with its partners, can support clients in preparing the substantive scope of a technology project and aligning it with investment objectives.

How we help

At GOTOMA GENERAL, we view financing not as a separate formal process, but as a key element of planning the entire technology investment.

We help define the project scope, organize technological goals, identify potential areas eligible for financing, and prepare substantive assumptions necessary for further work with consulting partners.

Why is it worth combining financing with a technology project?

A well-planned digital investment should combine three elements: a real business need, the right technology, and a feasible financing model.

This allows companies to reduce the barriers to entry into digital transformation, begin implementation faster, and better prepare the project for formal and business requirements.

Time to get down to business, let's talk about the project.
