A manufacturer of 3D printer filaments was rapidly expanding its production capabilities, servicing a growing network of distributors in Central Europe and planning expansion into Western European markets.
As the scale of its operations grew, the need arose to streamline processes related to product preparation for sale and finished goods warehouse management. The existing workflow model relied on limited automation of post-production processes, which hindered efficient management of product flow between production, warehouse, and sales. Preparing semi-finished products for final sale and coordinating product distribution to both business customers and direct sales posed a particular challenge.
The lack of an integrated system supporting warehouse management and sales planning led to difficulties in synchronizing warehouse, production, and sales channels, and also limited the ability to effectively plan the use of the company’s production and logistics resources.
