Vayer

Comprehensive implementation of a new website together with server infrastructure and content preparation for a premium bathroom fittings manufacturer.

About the project

Vayer, a Polish premium manufacturer of bathroom fittings developing proprietary technologies, needed a new website that would reflect the brand’s positioning in the premium segment and serve as an actual sales tool for both B2B and B2C channels.

The scope of collaboration went beyond just building the website. Instead of engaging a design agency, developer, hosting provider, and copywriter separately, the client commissioned the entire process to a single contractor. GOTOMA GENERAL took on the role of general contractor, coordinating the project, implementation, content, and server infrastructure as one cohesive process.

Problem

The extensive but inconsistent product range required a new site structure, organized content, and stable infrastructure under unified oversight.

The previous website did not reflect the brand’s positioning in the premium segment. The catalog was comprehensive but inconsistent (overlapping subcategories), and product content required organization and optimization, with some parts needing to be recreated from scratch. The client also lacked a ready-made server environment prepared for the new version of the site.

Additionally, coordinating multiple work areas posed a challenge:

  • design (UX/UI)
  • development
  • content
  • infrastructure

It was essential that all elements were developed cohesively and delivered to the client as a single ready-made solution, without the need to manage multiple vendors independently.

Solution

As the project’s general contractor, GOTOMA GENERAL was responsible for coordinating the work and process: from workshops and information architecture, through UX/UI design and WordPress implementation, to launch on the target server infrastructure. This approach made it possible to solve all identified issues simultaneously, without shifting responsibility between vendors:

  • New information architecture and a clear structure of product categories, designed jointly with the client.
  • Website built on WordPress with extensive product cards and dedicated sections for individual customers, architects, and B2B partners.
  • Content preparation and optimization for the website: category descriptions, product content, and key subpages, as part of content marketing services, based on brand materials and the latest SEO guidelines and trends.
  • Delivery and configuration of the server (VPS) for the new environment, including application deployment and backup configuration.
  • Single point of contact and coordination for the client, regardless of whether the matter concerned design, content, code, or server.

Results

The following outcomes were achieved through the implementation:

  • Brand image consistent with its position in the premium segment, strengthening its competitive advantage in the market
  • Organized structure of categories and product cards
  • Ready and optimized content for key sections of the website
  • A single partner responsible for the entire process - the client did not need to coordinate design, development, and content elements separately
  • Shortened implementation time thanks to parallel work of design, development, and content teams
  • A website ready for further development, including new language versions, e-commerce features, and a B2B panel
  • Own server infrastructure, delivered and configured as a turnkey solution
